The first blue squill is open in the yard near Janet’s redbud. A few forsythia buds are yellow, but no sign of opening anywhere around the area. Several daffodil buds are large and ready. Waterleaf foliage is up and about an inch or so in breadth. Ramp leaves have unraveled. Pussy willows are fully emerged but show no pollen. Robins jousting on High Street as I got set to move the trees cut down last week. The small red tulips by the pond have red buds, would bloom tomorrow if the weather would be warm enough.
