Cardinals loud and aggressive this morning when I walked Bella in the alley. A half dozen squills are blooming now, and one daffodil half opened this morning near the peach tree before a cold front moved in. Along the south border of the lawn, Lenten roses – hellaboris – are in full bloom, and others seen along Dayton Street, may have opened as early as two weeks or more ago. In Wilmington, several white daffodils seen open.
